Day 3: Someone who marches to the beat of their own drum

Helllooooo. *wink*

I said a prayer for you today that your show goes perfectly well, you remember your lines and break a leg. I also asked God to let your Lenten sacrifices be acceptable in his sight. And that men stop hitting on you - but only because it seemed to make you uncomfortable.

Relax, I prayed for myself too- that I stop flaking and being elusive.

Side bar: At salsa last night, someone said I was "Skittish & Stubborn", and I thought urgh, those are horse adjectives, which won't work because I'm already a vixen.

So the note- this one, is for you to know that I find you marching to the beat of your own drum creatively, very ,extremely, bigly* admirable.

I find people who follow the less traveled path fascinating and interesting and slightly overwhelming. And yes that includes you.

Let this note/email/letter ( I'm not sure the medium with which I'd send it, or if I'd send it), constantly remind you at anytime you feel inundated that you are doing what you should be doing.

Doing anything else just means the journey to death won't be as spectacular and what better life to live than your best one?

Hint: None.

and if you quit, you'd just be the tall black guy with the panama hat who keeps getting asked for drugs. ( But you already knew that)

(lots of ands - I know, written without screen bombs)

And bring back the fancy blazers and whatever you feel super comfortable in.

As always, I'll call you.

ps: how would you feel about flowers after your show tomorrow?
